Today I present to you an artist that I adore: Valérie aka ARVALYS .
I met her at the Artshopping fair at the Carrousel du Louvre in April 2022.
His work in the Art Deco and Art Nouveau style touched me immediately. The colors, the curves, the details, everything speaks to me and echoes my own sensitivity.
His biography
Valérie ARVALYS was born in Le Havre in the 1970s, surrounded by the scent of turpentine and acrylic.
Creative from a young age, she was instinctively drawn to the works of her father and grandfather. She was interested in their classical painting technique for one and impressionist for the other.
She joined a visual communication school at Beaubourg (Paris), then frequented a group of painters for a few years with whom she exhibited. Subsequently, she exhibited individually in different places in Paris, including the CNP Foundation .
These different artistic experiences have nourished her and energized her creativity and her taste for color and aesthetics . Her heart naturally went towards the " art deco " and " art nouveau " styles that she particularly likes.
What touches Valérie ARVALYS is the finesse of the different works, the colors, the architecture , the sculpture , the work of stained glass , jewelry , wrought iron , advertising posters and above all nature and animals .
His works
Valérie ARVALYS likes to explore and experiment with different approaches and techniques, mixing genres and materials (acrylic, clay, wood, stone, resin, etc.) and working on several supports (reclaimed wood, canvas, clay, etc.).
A complete artist, Valérie Arvalys shares her emotions through her art and touches the viewer's heart with positive and restorative vibes.

A beautiful meeting
There are meetings that leave a mark and I would place ours under the sign of humor and complicity.
In addition to being very sensitive , Valérie is full of life. Her sparkling personality, her vision of the world and her sense of humor are a real breath of fresh air!
I can't wait to see her again at Artshopping Paris and Deauville next October.
