Made during the second lockdown, Bizzilla (lace in Maltese) is a desire for softness, tenderness and generosity. Rhodochrosite, the stone of the heart, with such soft colours, spreads its love through its ribbon-like patterns. The energy of the mineral spreads through the fork crochet bands to metamorphose into delicate flowers... A technique learned during my childhood, fork lace is thus put in the spotlight in this metallic version.
