When I found this slice of paesin that I first took for a landscape jasper, I immediately thought of the landscapes of Monument Valley between Arizona and Utah. It seemed natural to me to create a figurative landscape, filled with collectible stones found in the 4 corners of the world and to place a small jewel gecko in search of new horizons.
