Unable to communicate

"You don't know how to communicate ", "you're too shy ", "have you lost your tongue?" "do you never speak ?", "you have no character " and so on and so many more are expressions that I heard (too much) in my childhood.

Raised harshly, I was a wise, hypersensitive and solitary little girl, gifted in literature, philosophy, Greek, piano and art in general.

I felt so different and out of place that integrating into society seemed impossible.

Loneliness does not come from the absence of people around us, but from our inability to communicate the things that seem important to us.
Carl Gustav Jung

After a professional career in tourism and then in export, I always had big communication problems and it was unhealthy, it was eating away at me from the inside.

So I changed my life . Or rather, it was manual work that imposed itself on me. I started creating jewelry. Creating with my hands cleared my head and plunged me into a state of euphoria , even a trance , that I had never known before.

An artistic personality

It was at this time that I understood that I was an artist . I realized that my personality for so long bullied was an asset and my creativity a formidable driving force. Finally I could communicate through my creations, put all my heart , my doubts, my questions, my joys and my hopes into them.

I am linking you to a very interesting article by Jerôme Garrido on artistic personality: How to recognize creative people - TBCRM

It’s been 20 years now that I have been creating with the same happiness and always the same fervor.
